Pranavam Resort & Spa started as a family-run homestay in 2000, nestled in the tranquil coffee plantations of Wayanad. Over the years, it evolved, and in 2020, we became a full-fledged resort, offering guests a luxurious yet intimate escape into nature. The resort is now proudly owned and operated by Homayon Khoram, an Afghan national with a rich history. With a Master's in Civil and Industrial Engineering from the Soviet Union, Homayon met his wife, Dhanya Ravindran, during his studies. Dhanay, a native of this plantation, hails from India. Together, we navigated the challenges of a turbulent world—from life under Taliban rule in Afghanistan to seeking refuge in Pakistan, and eventually working with United Nations agencies after 9/11. Our journey has been featured in Indian newspapers, and our love story was even highlighted in "Faasley," part of the "Love Storiaan" documentary on Amazon Prime, produced by Karan Johar. Our story, deeply rooted in resilience, love, and hope, reflects the warmth and care we offer at Pranavam Resort & Spa. From personalized hospitality to unique experiences, we invite you to enjoy an unforgettable stay where history, luxury, and nature meet.
