Meenmutty Waterfalls, Wayanad

Meenmutty Waterfalls is a magnificent falls located near Banasura Sagar Dam. The upper level of the waterfall can be reached by 1.5 km trek from the entry point. It is one of the best waterfalls near Bangalore and among the best Wayanad tourist places to visit. At a distance of 5 km from Banasura Sagar Dam, 25 km from Kalpetta & 48 km from Sulthan Bathery.

It is a three-tiered waterfall with a height of 300 metres. Meenmutty is a combination of Malayalam words Meen and Mutty. Meenmutty waterfalls, an interesting 2 km jungle trek of the main Ootty road, Meenmutty is the largest most spectacular water fall in Wayanad.
